Calco Connect

One quote. Many trades. Real partner prices.

Most jobs span more than one trade. With Calco Connect you carve one trade out of a multi-trade quote and send just that task to a partner company. Their price comes back and merges automatically, so the customer gets one combined quote.

Electrical

The carved task travels to the partner and returns as a price.

The multi-trade problem

No more guessed prices and email back-and-forth

When a job needs a trade you don't do yourself, the price usually becomes a guess or a long email thread. Connect replaces the guess with the partner's own price, made in the partner's own Calco.

01

No guessed prices

The partner works out the task in their own Calco. You get a real price, not an estimate.

02

No email ping-pong

The task is sent, made and merged inside Calco. Not in an inbox.

03

One quote to the customer

The customer sees one combined quote with your price. Never two documents that don't add up.

Electrical (partner)

The customer sees one total.

01

Carve out a trade

Mark the work in the quote that belongs to another trade, say the electrical work, and get it ready to send.

02

Send to partner

The partner is already on Calco or is invited with a magic link. They see only the carved task - never the rest of your quote.

03

Merge it back

The partner does the task and sends it back. The price merges automatically into your quote as your cost.

Prices and privacy

You control the price. The partner never sees your markup.

The partner's price enters as your cost with a markup you set yourself. The default is 0, so you deliberately choose what to add on top.

The partner sees only their task
Never the rest of your quote, your other trades or your price to the customer.
Adjustable markup, default 0
The partner's price becomes your cost. You add a markup on top - or you don't.
The customer sees only your price
The customer never sees the partner's price, and the partner never sees your markup.

Why it matters

“Software that automates a tradesperson's most valuable administrative function.”

Quoting is revenue-critical. Connect solves the multi-trade problem with real partner prices instead of guesses, and removes the email thread entirely.

Questions and answers

What you'll typically want to know

What is Calco Connect?
Connect lets your company carve one trade out of a multi-trade quote and send just that task to a partner company on Calco. The partner does the task, and the price merges automatically into one combined quote for the customer.
Does the partner see my whole quote?
No. The partner sees only the carved task, never the rest of your quote, your other trades or your price to the customer.
How do I set my markup on the partner's price?
The partner's price enters as your cost with an adjustable markup. The default is 0, so you deliberately choose what to add. The customer sees only your price, and the partner never sees your markup.
Does the partner need to already use Calco?
Not necessarily. If the partner is already on Calco the task is sent directly. Otherwise they are invited with a magic link, then do the task in their own Calco.
What does the customer see in the end?
The customer gets one combined quote with your price. Partner prices are already merged in as your cost, so there are never two documents that don't add up.
